Beach trips with friends and family are some of the best trips, but it is unfortunate that everyone seems to go the same time you want to. It is always so busy, with streets full of traffic and people, all trying to do the same thing as everyone else. The sheer numbers are enough to frustrate most people, but the added nearly hopeless task of finding parking in the chaos of the beach makes it impossible to truly enjoy precious time off. However, perhaps the most frustrating thing is how people seem to park in places they are not allowed to and get away with it. This problem takes up space from people and is an eyesore to look at, especially when the beach is concerned. The city of Clearwater, with their snow-white sand and soft blue waters, wants to help alleviate this problem and assist in other areas by requesting a proposal for qualified vendors to provide full service vehicle towing, removal, and storage services for the Clearwater Police Department and other various citywide needs.
If interested, vendors can find out more at Clearwater's Procurement Office at (727)-562-4630 or Leslie Greve at (727)-444-7902 or email at Leslie.Greve@myclearwater.com. The bid closes on August 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM ET.
