Event Parking

Going to a concert or professional game is usually accompanied by feelings of excitement and intrigue. The atmosphere is always bumping and you cannot wait to see what you paid to see. Whether it is your song being played live, singing along with thousands of like-minded individuals or going to cheer on your favorite team with fans just as passionate as you are, these events carry promises of ecstasy and the making of memories you will cherish forever. Despite the fun of the actual event, the before and after are often filled with frustration, sweat, and anxiety. Many things can contribute to these undesirable afflictions, but perhaps the most common cause is parking.

Event parking is terrible. Long lines fill roadways and walking attendees make it almost impossible to maneuver. Finding a spot is confusing, especially when there is no clear signage or poor directions.  What makes it worse is if it is your first time visiting that venue. You have no idea how it works or where to go, and whatever mapping app you are using will not update for a concert taking place just for that day. It's a stressful time, and not something people want to do for a prolonged period before having fun.

Hence the necessity of event parking and traffic control. When thousands or even hundreds of people gather in one location at the same time, things will get messy. These services are crucial for making sure the event proceeds efficiently and those attending are able to enjoy what they are trying to get to. In addition, these services help mitigate potential parking lot collisions and help protect the multitude of walking visitors from overzealous drivers. Good parking and traffic control reflects well on the venue, too. Think back to all those times you went to an event and they had smooth parking and exits. You would trust them to host again, and are more likely to go to an event where they are the host.

Because of the benefits that come with traffic control and event parking services, South Suburban Park and Recreation District, Colorado is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide aforementioned services at the Hudson Gardens and Event Center.
