The city of Tempe, Arizona is seeking referees for the Community Services Department. The Department plays a key role in community togetherness and promotes healthy competition in a variety of sports, including basketball, soccer, and pickleball. The recreation center is home to numerous sports and leagues, with women's volleyball being a particularly popular activity. The center is home to both adult and youth leagues and therefore requires many referees for the multiple sports offered. The referees must be experienced and meet the requirements stated by the vendor so that the Community Services Department can better accomplish the goal of providing a friendly, but competitive recreational experience for the residents of Tempe and any potential visitors.
The Tempe community would like to establish a two year contract with three one year renewals with a qualified refereeing firm. The bid closes on July 11, 2024 at 3:00 PM MST.
