Tree Planting and Watering

Tree health is often overlooked in the planning and mantainence of a city. Because of that, air quality and quality of life often suffers. Thankfully, there are ways to remedy that. One of which is simply tree planting. Similar to flowers, trees can aid in the aesthetic appeal of any area, with the added benefits of improving air quality and soil health. However, suburban and urban areas suffer from heavy air pollution, and tree health suffers because of it, unfortunately leading to the deaths of them.

By implementing tree planting services, a city can help sustain the ecological health of the community simply by planting a couple of seeds in strategic areas. The City of Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking proposals to finalize an agreement for tree planting and watering for their Parks and Recreation Department on an "as needed" basis at Forest Park Boulevard. This initiative seeks to help alleviate some of the stress put on the area by human living, and can drastically improve the quality of life of the individuals living close by.

Tree planting is only part of the journey, and ensuring that those trees can be as effective as possible means watering them when needed. Texas is known for drier climates and periods without rain, meaning human intervention may be required. By aiding in watering these areas, we can help make sure that these trees get the nutrients and hydration they need so that they can do their jobs to the best of their abilities.
