The University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars has a rich history stemming back to 1973 - originally only starting out as a college for upper level students. However, since 2010, the University started admitting sophomores and freshman as well. The University is home to over 4300 students and is full of diversity, with a good mix of international and adult students as well as the more traditional collegiate body. Although small in body, the University is home to many sports, including baseball, softball, golf, and soccer, with both men's and womens teams for both. Their short nine year history in the NAIA conference has been successful, including Conference Champions for the mens soccer team in 2021. For the fourteenth anniversary of competing in the Red River Athletic Conference, the mens team hopes to repeat their winning record from last season and to go further in the RRAC tournament, having falling short in the quarterfinals. The womens team look to improve on last seasons performances but both need ways to get to and from the games. Because of this, the University of Houston Victoria is looking for bids for services for two charter buses to act as transportation for both the teams for one year with the option to renew for four additional one year terms. Their goal is to have one primary and one or two secondary charter bus companies available for these services. Proposers are encouraged to propose contracts that offer maximum benefits to the University in terms of services, costs, and project management expertise. In addition, proposers should describe all educational, state, and local government discounts and any other discounts that may be accessible. Proposals must be sent to UHV Purchasing Department Ron Chavez, ChavezRC@uhv.edu at 3007 N. Ben WIlson St, West Building Room 115 Victoria, Texas 77901-5731.
